A secluded tropical villa, a light breeze and breathtaking seascapes ... It was in this setting that Piaget’s new collection of jewellery and watches, Limelight Paradise Island, were presented. The only difference is that the venue of the event wasn’t, as you’d expect one, of the Caribbean Islands, but the Moscow gallery Diehl + Gallery One. With an array of tropical plants, thoughtful decorations and furniture, video projections depicting endless expanses of water, the interiors of the galleries were transformed into a modern villa, which had the tranquil atmosphere of relaxing at the seaside. The evening was held against the backdrop of a live performance by Marimba Plus, using the marimba as the lead instrument - a percussion instrument originally from the African tropics. Guests were able to see the new collection of Limelight Paradise, installed in display windows and to see them as they should be, adorned by beautiful models during the presentation of the jewellery. Dresses for the show were provided by the designer Vika Gazinskaya from her Spring-Summer 2009 collection.
